Arboriculturalist and Amenity Tree Care Specialist Dr Keith Lloyd Jones is the original technical Author and developer of SafeArb™ the Safety Service Delivery Standard for the Arboriculture Industry for the safe planning, resourcing, management and maintenance of amenity tree works, tree surveying and inspection, in the urban environment.
SafeArb™ provides evidence of competency for tree maintenance operations in parks, highways, gardens, and public places, driving higher levels of Health and Safety, Quality of Service Delivery, Sustainability and Environmental and Biosecurity protection.
SafeArb™ applicants will be required to provide copies of several documents including insurance certificates, MOT certificates, arborists' qualifications, equipment maintenance and inspection records, risk assessments to ensure compliance. They will also have to show proof that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including fall protection provision for staff, meets recognised standards, such as CE EN or British Standards. All documentation must meet the requirements of SSIP's core criteria with safe systems of work in place.
Dr Keith Lloyd Jones will provide support to make sure that all SafeArb™ requirements are in place to achieve certification.
